Experience Overview

This two-hour tour takes you to Hatoya (Miso Park), a long-established miso brewery in Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture, with over 160 years of history. You will explore a warehouse filled with large cedar barrels used for over a century and learn about the region’s traditional soybean miso culture. After the tour, enjoy a tasting of three distinct miso varieties before combining miso, soy sauce, vinegar, and oil to create your own original miso dressing, which you can sample with a fresh salad. Guided by an experienced expert, this tour also offers an optional traditional Gohei Mochi-making experience.
