Experience the authentic taste of Nagano through a hands-on oyaki-making workshop! Oyaki is a cherished local delicacy made by wrapping vegetables, pickles, or sweet red bean paste in a flour dough, then baking it to perfection. Historically, it served as a vital source of nutrition in mountainous regions where rice cultivation was challenging. In this session, you will learn to roll out the dough, pack it with traditional fillings like nozawana (pickled mustard greens), and toast it over charcoal for a deliciously smoky flavor. Enjoying your hot, freshly made oyaki right on the spot is an unforgettable culinary experience!
