Experience Description
Narukawa Art Museum boasts over 4,000 nihonga-style Japanese artworks, crafted with mineral paints that endure for ages. Guests will embark on a private group tour led by Mr. Kanagawa, the esteemed director of the museum, who will illuminate major works and share fascinating anecdotes about the painters, making nihonga art accessible to complete beginners. Following the enriching tour, participants will enjoy coffee or matcha and sweets from the cafe's prime seats, offering a picturesque view of Lake Ashi and, weather permitting, the iconic Mt. Fuji. A special souvenir, hand-picked by Mr. Kanagawa, is also included to commemorate the experience. This intellectual and culture-based tour can be arranged as a private, morning-exclusive option.
